12. What happens to any unredeemed vouchers?

We have now extended the period for which Charity Vouchers are valid, to five years, to ensure that as many vouchers as possible get redeemed.  The value of any expired vouchers is used to help pay for costs incurred in running the Company.  Anglia Giving is a not-for-profit company and any surplus funds are distributed annually to UK Registered Charities at the discretion of the Officers of the Company.  For example, in 2008/9 some of this was used to give Charity Vouchers as prizes for young people in competitions organised by The Citizenship Foundation to help promote Citizenship in schools across the UK.  For further information please see our menu item 'Citizenship'.
