13. Is Anglia Giving a charity?

No. The organisation does not meet the criteria to register as a charity itself because, although it raises money for charities, it does not have its own specific 'charitable purpose' according to the Charity Commission definitions. Instead, we are a not-for-profit company and any surplus funds after operating costs are reinvested in the scheme or given away to charity.
