13. Is Anglia Giving a charity?

No; Anglia Giving does not have its own specific 'charitable purpose', ie a particular cause it raises money for so, according to the Charity Commission definitions, it does not meet the criteria to register as a charity itself.  Instead, we are a not-for-profit company (belonging to the National Council for Voluntary Organisations - NCVO).  Any surplus funds after operating costs are reinvested in the scheme or given away to a variety of charities.
