Giving and receiving Charity Vouchers couldn't be easier.  Here, we explain how the service works...

  • You buy a Charity Voucher to give as a gift.  The standard voucher comes in an attractive card and the value is whatever amount you choose: £10, £15, £20, £25, £30, £50, £100 and so on... you pay just the face-value and a small administration charge (£1.50) for the service, card and postage

  • We post your voucher and card to you by First Class mail, usually on the same day it is ordered

  • You give the voucher to someone... you can wrap it up and hand it over or pop it in the post

  • The person you give the voucher to can then choose which charity to give the donation to; they can pick a charity on our site or indeed any UK charity they like - be it a local good cause, a national charity that means something special to them, an international aid charity or even a local church, school or scout group!

  • The person redeems the voucher in whichever way is easiest for them. The quickest is to come on to our website to redeem the voucher online. If they prefer, they can just call our Freephone number during normal office hours and redeem the voucher that way. Alternatively, they simply write the name of their chosen charity on the front of the voucher and post it back to us using the pre-addressed Freepost envelope which we send out with each voucher. Or, last but not least, they may choose to give the voucher directly to the charity itself and the charity will then contact us themselves to redeem the voucher

  • We then make payment, for the full face-value of the voucher, directly to the Charity

  • If the recipient requests it, the charity will usually send a receipt or thank you - this can be sent by email if requested so that the charity doesn't spend any money on postage and printing out letters, as well as being faster and 'greener'!

  • As a new alternative in 2008 we introduced e-vouchers ... the same service but all done by email instead! - For more information please click here.
